Cyber security is crucial in today’s world as it protects sensitive information, personal data, and critical systems from cyber threats like hacking, malware, and phishing. With the rapid digital transformation and increased reliance on online services, the risks of data breaches, financial loss, and privacy invasion have grown significantly. Strong cyber security measures are essential to safeguard individual privacy, ensure the integrity of business operations, and protect national infrastructure from potential cyber-attacks. The objective of the cyber security seminar/workshop was to raise awareness about the growing importance of digital security, educate participants on current cyber threats.

Mr Sandeep Kumar Agarwal has been a forefront and a proficient audit management professional for over 15 years wherein the total IT expertise count 27 years of experience in managing and cyber security infrastructure and cloud audit. Our esteemed guest has been the the web developer at Goldkisk International, Team Lead at Binary Semantics. Mr Agarwal has contributed as a validation project manager at Wipro technologies, Hyderabad. He has a SOX compliance program manager at Microsoft Corporation Hyderabad, Mr Sandeep Kumar Agarwal has been a validation delivery manager at Novo nordisk Bangalore. He also held the position of a senior audit manager at AIG before Holding the lead in cyber security and infrastructure audit function to review and ensure quality delivery of completeness and accuracy, test of design and test of operating effectiveness, work, paper documentation, effective walk-through, process, narratives and process flows at AIG. He also took the lead at third-party risk management responsible for overseeing into process of assessing and monitoring risk associated with IT delivery partners like TCS, cognizant emphasis, etc. Mr Agarwal was a senior audit manager at Accenture where he directed the team of cyber security auditors performing cyber infrastructure and AWS cloud audits. 

Mr Sandeep Kumar Agarwal is currently a vice president of cloud control management at Wells Fargo responsible for cloud security management and compliance through auditing and monitoring of mighty cloud. Set up testing of cloud controls for test of design and test of operating effectiveness, respectively.

Several students appreciated the practical examples and case studies shared by the speaker, which helped them understand real-world applications of cyber security principles.
